Our School Uniform
At Fishburn Primary School, our uniform helps children feel proud of their school and creates a sense of belonging. Children are expected to wear school uniform each day.
School logos are optional. There is no requirement for any item to have the school badge embroidered. Plain items in the correct colours can be purchased from supermarkets, high-street shops or other retailers.
Everyday uniform
Children should wear:

Grey or black trousers, shorts or a skirt. Joggers and tracksuit bottoms are not part of everyday uniform.

A white polo shirt.

A royal blue jumper or cardigan.

Flat black shoes or plain black trainers suitable for school activities. Shoes with heels are not suitable.
Optional alternatives:
PE kit
Children should bring their PE kit into school on their allocated PE day. They will change at school rather than arrive wearing their kit.
PE kit consists of:
Black tracksuit bottoms may be worn in colder weather. Vest tops are not suitable.
PE kit does not need to carry the school logo.
Buying uniform
Families can choose where to purchase uniform. There is no requirement to use a particular supplier or buy branded items.
School-logo items are available from Emblematic for families who wish to purchase them. These are optional. Please use the ordering link below.
Uniform Bank and support
Our school Uniform Bank provides good-quality pre-loved uniform, including shoes, free of charge, subject to sizes and availability.
All families are welcome to use this service. Please contact Mrs Tonia Leddy in the school office to ask about available items or discuss any difficulty obtaining uniform. Requests for support will be handled sensitively and confidentially.
We aim to keep uniform affordable and encourage families to make use of plain items and our free Uniform Bank.
Individual needs
Please speak to us if your child needs an adjustment to uniform because of a disability, sensory need, medical condition, religion or belief. We will work with families to agree suitable arrangements.
Labelling clothing
Please label all clothing and footwear with your child’s name so that misplaced items can be returned.
